At Women Building Futures, our mission is fostering economic security for women and gender-diverse individuals. Through free pre-apprenticeship programs, employment readiness workshops, and strong employer partnerships, we help individuals explore, prepare for, and succeed in trades careers that pay above a living wage. Whether you’re a woman exploring next steps, an employer seeking to diversify your workforce, or a community organization supporting underrepresented groups, WBF is here to help build futures.

This is a 12-week introductory construction trades program that will prepare you to begin an entry-level career in the industry.
Employment Readiness Workshops
We offer a series of free, online and in-person workshops that provide an opportunity for you to plan and prepare for your new career path.
Workshops cover topics including:
- Foundational Math
- Career Exploration
- Personal Development
- Money Talks (money management)
Training Programs
Our programs are industry recognized and provide you with the skills to succeed in your new career.
Programs include training in:
- Hard Skills
- Soft Skills
- Safety Certifications
- Industry Awareness
